There’s a new addition to the talkRADIO weeknight schedule as Darryl Morris takes over from Paul Ross, who moves to talkSPORT.
Darryl joins talkRADIO full time to host 1am till 5am, whilst Paul Ross now hosts the same slot on its sister station.
In addition, Paul Coyte is launching an early sports breakfast show at 5am across the talkSPORT network.
“I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to do this every day. I’m going to jump in with both feet and see what adventures await,” Darryl posted on social media.
Darryl has worked at The Hits, Galaxy, XFM, Rock FM and BBC Radio Manchester
Head of talkSPORT Lee Clayton said: “It’s great to have Paul join the talkSPORT team. He is a versatile and talented broadcaster who will bring with him a wealth of experience to the station and sports chat through the night. Following Paul’s slot, we are delighted that Paul Coyte will be launching the Early Sports Breakfast, with all the sporting news for early risers across the talkSPORT network.”
talkRADIO Programme Director Dennie Morris said: “Paul has been a huge influence on talkRADIO’s identity. His highlights include launching the station on our very first breakfast show, broadcasting live from the base of the Grenfell Tower and delivering a four hour breakfast show from the scene of the London Bridge attacks. We wish him well at talkSPORT and we are delighted that the excellent Darryl Morris (no relation) is joining the team.”
