Promotions at Audioboom as two new officers appointed

Thomas Mancusi has been appointed as Chief Revenue Officer whilst Erica Tong becomes Chief Operating Officer at Audioboom.

Mancusi served most recently as Audioboom’s EVP Global, Sales & Development before moving into the CRO position.

Before joining Audioboom in 2015, he worked at both CBS and Podcast One.

“It has been a pleasure working at Audioboom for the last five years and developing a market-leading advertising model,” said Mancusi. “I look forward to the challenge of exploring new revenue opportunities across the group.”

In his new role, Mancusi will continue to drive Audioboom’s core advertising product, develop international monetization partnerships, and expand revenue through ad tech.

Tong began her career with GroupM before joining Havas Media in 2014 as a National Broadcast Buyer. Since 2016, she has led Audioboom’s sales operations, most recently as SVP, Sales Planning & Operations.

As COO Tong will lead advertising operations, research & development, HR and communications, and will oversee the company’s major operational projects. “I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to join the leadership team at Audioboom. For the past five years, I’ve seen this company grow and mature to become a leader in the podcast industry,” said Tong.
