Magic has apologised after broadcasting a live acceptance speech by Richard Hawley containing multiple swear words.
Offensive words, including those considered to be Strong by Ofcom, were all aired live on Sunday evening as Magic broadcast live from the Olivier Awards.
In total, nine swear words including four Fu**s, three Pi**es and two sh**s were given as part of the extended speech by the singer-songwriter after he won the Best Original Score or New Orchestrations award.
The Magic presenter at the time interrupted during the speech, apologising to anyone who might be offended by the language, but then continued to broadcast the speech.
We’re awaiting a comment from Bauer.
