Three more DJs have been named as part of the latest Annie Nightingale Presents Scholarship 2023 initiative.
The Scholarship, now into its third year, aims to celebrate and elevate talented women and non-binary people in the electronic music scene by providing them with a national platform to showcase their taste and expertise.
With women and non-binary people among those historically underrepresented in many Dance spaces, each year Annie highlights three DJs she feels are deserving of recognition for their work. Those selected will go on to appear in a special edition of Annie Nightingale Presents on Radio 1.
The 2023 recipients are Imogen from Southampton, Jay Carder is broadcaster and DJ from London, and American DJ ROSSY.
They will each appear on a special edition of Annie Nightingale Presents on Saturday 4 November from 11pm-2am.

This year’s winners include two from the UK, IMOGEN from Southampton and Jay Carder from London, and from Kansas USA, ROSSY. They all possess great taste in music; versatility and dexterity on the decks and all convey their enthusiastic personalities on the mic. I wish them all great success and recognition.”
