Tim Lihoreau, presenter of Classic FM’s More Music Breakfast, is stepping down from the programme after almost 12 years.
He’s not leaving the station though, Tim will continue to host programmes in the new year with details coming soon.
Speaking on air this morning, Tim told listeners: “From January, I will be moving from Classic FM’s More Music Breakfast… I have done the breakfast show now for almost 12 years.
“I’m proud to say I’m the longest-serving breakfast presenter in the history of Classic FM, plus, come next year, I’d have been here for 30 years, both behind the scenes and in front of the mic.
|And like no doubt many of you too, I’ve had the chance to take stock of life over the past couple of years, and it was time for a change.
“But I am not leaving! I’ll be back on Christmas Day and then in January… and then I can tell you more about what’s in store for Classic FM in 2024 and about what I’m doing on Classic FM.”
Details of Classic FM’s new breakfast show presenter are expected to be announced soon.
