Global’s Lewis Goodall and Bauer Media’s Lucie Cave will be speaking at Radiocentre’s Tuning In Midlands event next month.
Lewis is co-host of The News Agents, an LBC Presenter and Analysis Investigations Editor at Global, whilst Lucie is Bauer Media’s Chief Creative Officer for podcasts and commercial content.
Lucie Cave will host a session titled ‘People: The superpower of audio’. Lucie will explore ideas, insight and wisdom on how brands can maximise audio’s human core as the media landscape becomes increasingly artificial.
On top of her role at Bauer, Lucie is an editor, journalist and Sunday Times best-selling celebrity ghost-writer. Lucie is also a well-known media expert – appearing on many shows including Baftas and the National Television Awards. She currently hosts her own weekly entertainment and lifestyle segment on ITV’s Lorraine and has a regular slot on Bauer’s Magic Breakfast.
Lewis, who grew up in Birmingham, will share his outlook for the year ahead which will include elections in both the UK and the US, as well as delve into the different roles podcasting and radio play when it comes to delivering the news.
Before joining Global, he worked in several producer and broadcaster roles including Political Correspondent at Sky News and Policy Editor for Newsnight at the BBC, where his reporting on the 2020 school exam crisis earned him a nomination for the Orwell Prize. He also writes for the New Statesman magazine and is a published author.
Another speaker announced today is Zoe Bruton, Sales Director at Say It Now, who will share insight and case studies into the power of voice and verbal interaction in audio advertising.
Tuning In Midlands is taking place at the Everyman Mailbox in Birmingham from 9:15am to 12noon on Wednesday 7th February. It will be chaired by Radiocentre’s CEO Matt Payton and will cover the future opportunities and innovations in audio and best practice audio advertising.
