Broadcaster Laura McGhie is to host a new overnight show on BBC Radio 5 Live on Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
Laura’s first show will air on Friday 18th April and will be broadcast from Pacific Quay, Glasgow. It will also be on all 39 BBC local radio stations in England as well as BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Ulster / Foyle in Northern Ireland.
Based in Pacific Quay, Glasgow, Laura regularly presents on Breakfast, Drive, and Weekend Breakfast for BBC Radio 5 Live. She also broadcasts for BBC One Scotland, BBC Scotland News at Seven and can be heard on BBC Radio Scotland.
Laura says: “It’s been a joy working across 5 Live for the last five years, and to be part of a brand-new programme is really exciting.
“I’m genuinely thrilled to join the overnight team. I know how important radio is to our overnight listeners and I can’t wait to be part of that community.”
