Roberto to host breakfast radio show on Nation 80s as it expands DAB coverage

Former Heart 80s and Capital presenter Roberto is joining Nation 80s from Monday to present the station’s breakfast show.

He joins as the station expands its DAB digital radio footprint across Lincolnshire, North Yorkshire and the North East over the coming days.

Roberto said; “I’m thrilled and very excited about joining Nation. I love what they’re doing and how they’re doing it.

“With a freshly baked breakfast every day, superb music and brilliant features such as The Greaties at 9 every day, I can’t wait to get started on Nation 80s.”

Meanwhile, there’s also a new voice at Nation Radio South, where the addition of former Southern FM presenter David Francis to weekend overnights meaning the station now has local presentation 24/7.

David said; “I’m looking forward to joining Nation. It’s a really exciting time at the station as it grows its audience and its broadcast area.”

Nation’s Group Programme Director Neil Greenslade told RadioToday: “Nation 80s already has a team of brilliant presenters, including Neil Fox, Tony Dibbin, Greg Burns, Steve Power and Mark Franklin.
