Bauer presenter Lynne Hoggan in hospital after brain bleed

Scottish radio presenter Lynne Hoggan is recovering in hospital after suffering a bleed on her brain.

Lynne presents shows across Clyde 1, Forth 1, Tay FM, Northsound 1 and MFR.

In a post on Instagram, Lynne’s sister-in-law Rachel explained that Lynne had been taken ill a week ago and it had turned out to be two aneurisms causing a ‘sizeable bleed on the brain’.

As a result, Lynne had surgery and stents put into her brain. Although she is now recovering, she is unable to communicate properly at the moment and be in hospital for a while.

Rachel added: “She appreciates all the love and support and will be in touch with all the individuals that have reached out to her once she is better.”
