Bauer’s Cash for Kids Day 2024 has raised £1,032,520 to support children and families across the UK.

The money was raised on Thursday 1st May through a wide range of events and challenges organised by Bauer Media’s radio stations and listeners.
- Absolute Radio’s Bush & Richie completed a bike ride from Everton to the Emirates Stadium.
- Hits Radio presenters, including Fleur East, Will Best and James Barr, joined schools across the country for Walk Across the World.
- Magic Radio hosted a baking challenge judged by Candice Brown, with Gok Wan taking the top spot.
- On Greatest Hits Radio, Ken Bruce spoke to artist Morgan Howell about his special t-shirt designs for the event.
- Kate Thornton presented a special chart of the Most Played Songs of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
- Elsewhere, KISS presenter Tatum McGreal ran the London Marathon for the charity last month.
- Jazz FM raffled tickets to Nocturne Live and Planet Rock continued its tradition of producing limited-edition t-shirts in support of the cause.
Sally Aitchison MBE, Managing Director of Cash for Kids, said, “We are so grateful to everyone who has donated and helped us raise this incredible amount. Everyone’s support today means that we can and will make a difference to thousands of children during the school holidays who will get to experience the fun and activities so many take for granted as well as receiving a meal.”
Cash for Kids is Bauer Media’s official charity and supports children living in poverty or with additional needs.
