talkSPORT has confirmed that former England and Australia head coach Eddie Jones will join its coverage team for the British & Irish Lions tour of Australia this summer.
Jones will be part of a group of former international players providing analysis and commentary throughout the series.
The line-up includes Ben Kay, Gordon D’Arcy, Alex Cuthbert, Jim Hamilton, Rocky Clark and Matt Giteau, who together hold a combined total of 459 test caps.
talkSPORT will broadcast every match of the tour live between 28 June and 2 August, including all three test matches and six pre-test games.
Coverage will include more than 200 hours of programming, with content also available across talkSPORT’s social channels and podcasts.
The tour’s test matches will take place in Brisbane on 19 July, Melbourne on 26 July and Sydney on 2 August.
The six pre-test games begin on 20 June with a match against Argentina in Dublin, followed by games against Western Force, Queensland Reds, NSW Waratahs, ACT Brumbies and a combined Australia and New Zealand invitational team.
Former England international Ben Kay will co-commentate alongside talkSPORT presenters Alfie Reynolds, Andrew McKenna, Shebahn Aherne and Hugh Woozencroft.
Kay said: “A British and Irish Lions tour is unlike anything else in the sport – the pinnacle for any player, amplified by the unbelievable support of the fans – I can’t wait to be amongst the sea of red in Australia to bring the listeners as close as possible to what should be an incredible series.”
This marks the fourth exclusive Lions tour covered by talkSPORT, following previous coverage in 2013, 2017 and 2021.
