Radio Today can exclusively reveal that GCap are to introduce a network show to weekday daytimes on The One Network.
The three hour programme will begin at the end of June, although the programme to be networked has not yet been decided.
The decision follows Global Radio's decision earlier this month to network daytime output across its Heart and Galaxy stations. GCap, who were recently bought by Global Radio, will also increase the amount of networking across Saturdays and Sundays.
A presenter is yet to be announced for the new weekday daytime programme, which will affect the majority of stations in the One network. A small handful of stations including Trent FM, Invicta FM, BRMB and GWR FM will not take the programme until later this year.
