Independent Audio Sales has launched as a national sales house representing over 60 independent and local radio stations across the UK.
IAS brings these stations together, offering media buyers a single point of contact for agency planning, buying and invoicing.
The company says this approach is designed to simplify access for agencies, removing the need to deal with multiple station contacts and proposals.
Alongside its launch, IAS has introduced the RAMS Planner, a platform built for agencies that provides live listening data and supports campaign planning and buying.
RAMS – Real Audience Measurement System and is already in use by several UK agencies. Through the RAMS Planner, agencies can plan campaigns across the full IAS network, target specific local audiences, or focus on the wider independent sector.
The platform allows users to cost and build multi-station campaigns without the manual administration usually required for local radio buying.
Agencies can also submit briefs directly to the IAS team for campaign planning support. Registration for agency planners and buyers is free and available via the IAS website.
IAS was founded by Chris Hurst, Dominic Barker, Phil England and John Dash, who are offering agencies short demo calls to introduce the platform ahead of Q4 planning.
