Northwest How-Do Awards return

Radio stations in the northwest of England are invited for the third year running to submit a free entry to the How Do Media Industry Awards.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 5th, with an awards dinner taking place in Manchester on April 29th.

The 2010 dinner, once again in association with sponsor MediaCityUK, will be compered by Jim Hancock and the guest speaker this year will be Robert Shrimsley, the Managing Editor of FT.com.

Last year, Smooth Radio won the title of North West Radio Station of the Year. A new category – Best Radio Programme – launches this year.

The judges are looking for literate, justifiable and compelling entries written to a maximum of 500 words. The submitting company or organisation must be headquartered or have an operational base within the North West and the entry must relate to its 2009 activities.
