The local radio licence, covering just over 80,000 adults in the city of Bath, has been re-advertised by Ofcom.
A service is currently already broadcasting in the area, Total Star, on 107.9, but is set to expire on November 14th 2011.
The troubled licence has been of much interest to industry watchers, and was recently saved by its current licence holder, Cheltenham-based One Gold Radio Limited. Earlier this year it spent a month broadcasting nothing but a loop of music and jingles as previous owners YMCG went into administration.
It is now broadcasting to Bath from a studio in Swindon, shared with other services.
The closing-date for the receipt of completed applications is 3pm on Tuesday 01 March 2011, and a fee of £5,000 is payable for each application
