Former Head of Online Marketing at Woolworths.co.uk Christopher Thorogood has been appointed as Director of Digital as Global Radio.
He'll be responsible for all of Global Radio’s websites and mobile phone apps, leading a team of 50 people.
Christopher was most recently at Shine Group, where he has worked for the last year as Director of Operations and Acting Head of Digital for the group's digital arm ShineVu, undertaking several projects including the development and launch of the MasterChef app.
He'll report to Global Group CEO Stephen Miron, who said: “This is a significant appointment for us as the importance of digital grows for Global. With over 10 years experience at some of the most dynamic companies within the digital landscape, we are absolutely delighted that someone of Chris’ calibre is joining Global.”
