Capital’s latest Summertime Ball attracted 80,000 listeners to Wembley from all over the UK at the weekend.
The event included performances from some of the biggest names in music today, including Coldplay, Cheryl and Katy Perry.
Capital FM’s Summertime Ball, hosted by London breakfast hosts Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon, also included sets for new talent such as Conor Maynard and Global Talent’s Lawson and Cover Drive.
Capital playlist artists Example, Kelly Clarkson, Flo-Rida, Pitbull, Usher, The Wanted, Jessie J, Rita Ora, Dizzee Rascal and Justin Bieber all took part in the six and a half hour gig. Each artist received an exclusive gift bag which contained a Champneys weekend spa break, fragrances from Marc Jacobs, a Guess watch, a Links of London Official Team GB Bracelet, Summer footwear from Havaianas, Smirnoff Vanilla vodka, a Merlin Annual Pass, chocolate from Hotel Chocolat, St. Tropez tanning products and Leo Bancroft haircare products.
Adverts for Capital FM London and Capital FM UK were played on the big screens, along with the annual DJ Earworm Mash-up, which you can watch below.
