Arqiva continues radio awards sponsorship

RadioCentre has secured another year of sponsorship from Arqiva as headline sponsor for the Commercial Radio Awards.

The Arqivas, as they have become known, will take place in London on July 3rd, and this year will celebrate 19 years of ceremonies.

The awards, staged by Crying Out Loud Productions, will be launched for entries early next year on January 27th, with entries closing on March 7th. Nominations will be announced on May the 8th.

Any commercial radio station which is a member of RadioCentre is invited to take part.

RCS will once again be sponsoring the Programmer of the Year category, with PPL confirmed as sponsor for The Most Played UK Artist on Commercial Radio and Breakthrough UK Artist on Commercial Radio awards.

Linda Smith, CEO of RadioCentre commented: “We are delighted that Arqiva have signed up for the 15th year running as the headline sponsor. These awards demonstrate the strength of the commercial radio industry and are a testament to the great talent we have right across the board.”
