End of the road for X-Trax

After weeks of speculation, it has been revealed that radio industry magazine X-Trax and parent company Worldwebchannels.com Limited has gone into administration.

Questions started to be asked around the end of November throughout the commercial radio industry when no phone calls were returned by the editorial staff, and prizes which had been promised to listeners also failed to materialise.
The news became official when a legal noticed was placed in the London Gazette stating that an administrator, Simon Plant, was appointed on 21 November to oversee the administration of X-Trax parent company Worldwebchannels.com Limited. A report then followed in the [link=http://www.pressgazette.co.uk/story.asp?sectioncode=1&storycode=42645&c=1]Press Gazette[/link].
The November edition of X-Trax was the last one after over a decade of print.
RadioToday.co.uk contacted X-Trax regarding the situation on November 27th but has not yet had a reply.
