Kerrang! to bury listeners alive

Five Kerrang! Radio listeners are to be buried alive as part of a unique station contest. The Grave Mistake competition quite literally puts listeners in coffins in the grounds of Warwick Castle.

The endurance contest will involve the chosen listeners having to lay low the longest in custom made coffins for the chance to win the one thousand pounds prize fund. Kerrang has already had more than 350 entrants willing to spend several claustrophobic nights in the castle grounds.

Gordon Davidson, Programme Director for Kerrang! Radio said “Our listeners are fantastic, in the last year they’ve stripped off in public, been shot at and now they getting buried! We keep coming up with the weirdest, craziest challenges we can think of and they keep matching us, they really are what make this station very special.’

Kerrang! Radio presenters Kate Lawler and OJ Borg will be hosting the competition, which coincides with the launch of The Castle Dungeon at Warwick Castle, open to the public from 4th April.
