Bauer Media has made three breakfast producers redundant in the North of England across its Place Portfolio of radio stations.
The roles at Rock FM, Radio Aire and Viking FM are no longer required, says Bauer.
Disposing of breakfast producers at these stations will bring the shows in line with other stations such as Tay FM, CFM, Radio Borders, MFR and West FM, which also run without producers, a spokesperson from Bauer told RadioToday.co.uk.
Rock FM breakfast is hosted by Hywel and Jamie, Radio Aire with Rich Williams and Naomi Kent and Viking FM with Rosie and Jim.
But other stations such as Key 103, Radio City, Clyde, Forth and Hallam FM retain breakfast producers.
Producers were told of the changes last week.
A cross-station announcement is expected internally at Bauer Media sites on Thursday which is thought to be related to the most recent cuts.
