Changes and departures at Bauer City 2 Network

Nick Wright, Ray Rose and Mike Read are leaving the City 2 Network as Bauer makes some on-air changes for the new year.

From January, there will be split daytime shows in England and Scotland once again, with Ally Bally returning to daytimes and Gina McKie taking on drive time. Alan Edwards remains on breakfast.

In England Sean Goldsmith leads the team at breakfast, Darren Proctor joins the Bauer City 2 team taking over weekday daytime across the BC2 Network, including Radio City 2, while Paul Hayes will do drive.

Networked shows across both England and Scotland will see Steve Jordan hosting the evening show Sunday to Thursday as Darren Kelly takes over after the late show. Tony Blackburn continues from 4 to 7pm on Sundays.

These changes see Nick Wright, Ray Rose and Mike Read leave the network. Bauer says: “We’d like to thank them for their outstanding contribution to the BC2 Network during their time with Bauer”.
