Former Radio 1 producer Charlotte Greenman has been hired by Bauer to head up social media for the company’s national and local radio brands.
As Social Media Editor, she’ll develop and lead Bauer Radio’s social strategy, including studio videos, celebrity interviews, competitions and commercial partnerships.
Charlotte’s career so far has included being one of Radio 1’s first social producers in 2014 and Social Media Lead for Eastenders, as well as roles with Vevo UK and Birmingham agency One Black Bear. She’s moving to Bauer from the BBC where she’s been working on the corporation’s Body Positive campaign since March 2019.
She will report to the group’s Digital Content Director, Brett Spencer, who told RadioToday: “Charlotte’s experience to date across radio, music and the commercial sector means she is the perfect person to lead Bauer Radio’s social strategy. Bringing wide-ranging skills and expertise to our production teams, we know she’s going to be a huge asset.”
Charlotte added: “There’s an incredible opportunity at Bauer Radio to build on the great work that the stations have been doing individually and to develop a cohesive social strategy across the radio portfolio. I’m so thrilled to join this group of exciting and passionate people and can’t wait to get started.”
