Former BBC Three Counties Radio presenter Mike Naylor returns with Mix 92.6

Former BBC Three Counties Radio presenter Mike Naylor has joined Hertfordshire’s Mix 92.6.

His new show will air on Sundays from 2pm to 4pm starting this weekend.

Mike says “Everyone has been very welcoming and encouraging. I hope to re-connect with the audience, and make a difference to their Sunday afternoons, by playing all the music they love, from the past and present”

Mike’s previous show ended as part of recent changes to BBC Local Radio and the team at Mix 92.6 made contact to see if they could help Mike to connect with his listeners again and entertain some new ones too.

Programme Controller Andy Waterfield told RadioToday: “We’re delighted that Mike has joined us. His experience over many years in local and national radio has already brought us new insights and ideas and we’re so happy to be able to reconnect Mike with his Hertfordshire listeners.”

Mike’s experience includes having worked at BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio Leeds, BBC Radio Stoke, BBC Radio Shropshire, and BBC Three Counties Radio.
