IBC opens registration for Amsterdam 2026 show
Registration has opened for IBC2026 ahead of the media and technology industry gathering in Amsterdam this September.
The four day event at the RAI Amsterdam from 11 to 14 September will bring together broadcasters, technology companies and production firms from more than 170 countries.
Organisers say this year’s event will focus on areas including AI, cyber security, cloud workflows, immersive experiences, sustainability and next generation production technology.
Future Tech, introduced in 2025, is being expanded by 30% for 2026 following increased exhibitor demand. The area in Hall 14 will include a new Start Up Zone featuring emerging companies, alongside the IBC Talent Programme, Hackfest and creator initiatives.
IBC is also introducing two new networking and collaboration features. IBC Exchange will host structured peer-led discussions in the Braindate Lounge, while IBC Connect aims to arrange meetings between exhibitors and senior decision makers.
The IBC Accelerator Media Innovation Programme will return to Future Tech, bringing together broadcasters, streamers and technology providers to work on collaborative projects. Google is returning as headline sponsor, with EIT Culture and Creativity joining as Innovation Partner.
Michael Crimp, Chief Executive Officer of IBC, said the event comes at “a defining moment for the global media and entertainment industry”.
Companies increasing their presence at the show include Avid, EVS, MediaKind, NEP and Vizrt, while more than 50 businesses will exhibit for the first time.
It’s free to visit and you can register here.
