Peter Levy returns to radio

TV presenter Peter Levy is to go back to his radio roots with his own daily lunchtime show on BBC Radio Humberside, from next Monday.

Peter started his career as an actor on TV classics such as Dixon Of Dock Green, The Mike Yarwood Show, Comedy Playhouse and Man About The House. His first stint on radio came in 1975 when he joined the original Pennine Radio in Bradford.
He said: "Radio is my first love, it's where I started, I am really looking forward to having my own show."
Managing Editor of Radio Humberside, Simon Pattern, said: "We are delighted that Peter will be joining us on BBC Radio Humberside and look forward to him bringing his own unique style to the station."
Simon confirmed the Peter Levy Show would be a topical news programme featuring the big stories of the day, interviews with top celebrities, politicians and those hitting the headlines, and weather from popular presenter Paul Hudson.
He has also worked on other stations in Merseyside and Yorkshire including BBC Radio Leeds.
