UKRD is Three Star for third year in row

Local radio operator UKRD has again been accredited as a Three Star company to work for by employee assessment organisation Best Companies.

Last year the group took first place in the Sunday Times’ list of the Best Companies To Work For across all sectors.

Chief Executive Officer William Rogers told RadioToday.co.uk: “This is the third year in a row that we’ve delivered such an outstanding performance as a company and I want to thank a great team right across the company for delivering it. As a business, we work really hard at making sure we fully engage and involve staff at all levels and the values and culture which sit at the heart of our business have really made a huge difference. Our commercial performance has benefited enormously from this approach as well, with most of our stations delivering year on year progress in many areas.”

UKRD operates 19 commercial radio licences across England – from Pirate FM in the South West to Sun FM in the North East.

William added: “I dare say there’ll be a few celebrations about the place. What a great start to 2012 for UKRD.”
