Apprentice required at Absolute Radio

Absolute Radio is looking for an apprentice, and has even managed get the initiative sponsored.

Paul Sylvester from the station says: “Clearly there’s always work experience, hospital radio, student radio and community radio, but today Absolute Radio, in association with Orange U24, has announced a unique partnership to recruit an apprentice!

“If you’re the successful candidate, you will be offered a salaried post here at One Golden Square for 6 months, helping with programming, studio, music and promotional production. This is an amazing chance for a budding producer to get involved with every aspect of what we do. You’ll be working across all of our live shows, as well as helping to create some bespoke documentaries and specialist content. Not only will you be cutting your teeth in what we believe is one of the most creative teams in British radio, but you’ll be getting paid for it.”

Entries must be received by 23rd September 2012. A shortlist of candidates will then be interviewed at Absolute Radio by Paul and Content Director Tony Moorey with the sucessful person being announced by Christmas
