Broadcaster and Top Gear presenter James May is joining the line-up at the Drive to Digital Conference in London on November 5th.

He’ll be joined on stage by Absolute Radio’s Christian O’Connell, along with other guest speakers including BBC Radio 2 presenter Jo Whiley.

The agenda features a “Digital Question Time” video interview between Broadcast Minister Ed Vaizey and BBC reporter and conference chair Nick Higham. Over 300 delegates from across the automotive and broadcast industries attend the conference at BBC Broadcasting House.

The speakers will be focusing on how to accelerate growth and adoption of digital radios in cars. The Keynote speakers, following the interview with the Minister, are Tim Davie, Director of Audio & Music at the BBC and Anthony Ireson, marketing Director at Ford of Britain.

More cars are coming with DAB already installed – and just this week VW has confirmed new Golfs will come with a DAB radio set as standard – including the entry-level version Mk7 for 2013.

RadioToday.co.uk will be tweeting live from the event and will have video from the event available shortly afterwards.
