Bee scoops Apprentice exclusive

Alex Wotherspoon, one of the finalists from the television series The Apprentice joined 107 The Bee’s breakfast presenter Andy Cook for his first radio interview since leaving the show.

During his visit to the Darwen-based station, Alex spent time with Andy during the final hour of the breakfast show, and talked about what it was like on the show.
Andy said: “It’s a real coup for us to get the first UK radio interview with Alex.”
“He spoke candidly about his time in the series, and of course was a real hit with the female members of the Bee team! He’s even committed to help out with future promotions!!”
In the first week of The Apprentice, the 24 year old from Bolton was the team leader of the men, who were the losing side. However, Alex survived after taking Raef and Nicholas into the boardroom, and Sir Alan Sugar fired the latter.
Twelve weeks later, Alex went on to reach the final of The Apprentice, but lost out to Lee McQueen and Claire Young.
