Global Radio has signed Coca-Cola as the new headline partner of the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball taking place in December.
As headline partner, Coca-Cola will be promoted throughout the lead up to the event with a multi platform campaign in a deal negotiated by Mediacom.
Previous sponsors have included Blackberry and Windows 7.
Alongside on-air teaser taglines, live reads and ticket giveaways, there will be extensive support across Capital FM digital and social media channels. There will also be Coca-Cola branding and experiential activity at the events themselves.
Mike Gordon, managing director of commercial at Global Radio, said: “When you think of Christmas, you think of Coca-Cola. They’re the perfect partner for our Jingle Bell Ball, and we are very excited to have them on board. This year’s event will be bigger than ever, and we look forward to delivering some great results with Coca-Cola.”
Brid Drohan-Stewart, Coca-Cola GBmarketing director said: “Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball is a brilliant sponsorship opportunity for Coca-Cola. We have a proud heritage celebrating the magic of Christmas, and the Jingle Bell Ball allows us to build anticipation and excitement with the hottest acts in music and their passionate fans.”
Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball supports the station’s flagship charity, Help A Capital Child, with a donation being made from the proceeds of the event.
