The first ever Jazz FM Awards will take place on January 31st, with guests including Ramsey Lewis, Ahmad Jamal, Cerys Matthews and Courtney Pine.
Ramsey Lewis who will accept the Gold Award for Outstanding Contribution to Jazz, before treating guests to a performance, and pianist Ahmad Jamal will collect the Lifetime Achievement award before closing the show with a 20 minute set.

The evening, at One Marylebone, is sponsored by Klipsch and will be hosted by Jazz FM’s Ian Shaw.
Suggs from the band Madness will be presenting an award, and singer Cerys Matthews will join the Jazz FM Awards House Band for a number.
The London Youth Gospel Choir will get the night of live music underway when they perform for the guests at the drinks reception.
