NextRad.io, the UK’s radio ideas conference supported by Broadcast Bionics, has announced their first set of speakers for this year’s event.
They include Bruce Daisley from Twitter, Simon Hirst from Capital FM Yorkshire, BBC Music Events Sam Bailey and Philippa Aylott from BBC Radio 2.
The event, which this year looks set to have 22 speakers, is on Monday 9th September in central London. Tickets are currently available for a special price of £99.
This will be the third year of the NextRad.io conference. Organised by Matt Deegan and James Cridland, the conference promises “no panels and no suits”, and focuses on ideas for people across all areas of radio – programming, music, speech, the web, and social media.
Matt Deegan told RadioToday: “Tickets are selling better than ever this year, which is great to see: and the range of people already coming should make for a great atmosphere in our new, larger venue.”
