Rich Clarke moves to Heart South Coast

Capital FM’s mid-morning show host Rich Clarke is swapping the Capital network for Heart in the New Year.

He’s heading to the South Coast to co-host the flagship breakfast show with Zoe Hanson from 6th January 2014.

Rich replaces Michael Underwood who has decided to step down from the show to spend more time with his young family.

Rich Clarke said: “I am really excited to be joining Heart and the team on the South Coast. I used to live there – and loved it – so it’ll be fantastic to be back. Zoe is great fun and we’re going to have a lot of laughs together.”

Stuart Davies, Heart’s Regional Team Leader, said: “Rich is a hugely talented and popular presenter so we’re thrilled to welcome him to Heart. I can’t wait to hear what Zoe and him get up to in the mornings! We would like to thank Michael Underwood for his contribution to the show since April and we wish him all the best with his young family – not to mention a well-earned lie-in if his children will allow him!”
