The owner of talkSPORT, UTV Media, has reported group revenue up by nine per cent in the first six months of 2010 to £59.2m. Its GB radio division had extra revenue strengthened by the World Cup, and the inclusion of Sport magazine which was acquired in May 2009.

Coventry station Mercia has produced a video which has gone viral worldwide – after receiving coverage on ITV, GMTV, the BBC and national newspapers. The video shows a cat getting revenge after a story in their TSA hit the headlines earlier this week about a woman putting a cat in a wheelie bin.
