Panjab Radio added to DAB+ mux in Berlin

Panjab Radio is expanding into Europe with the launch of a DAB+ service in Berlin.

The slot on the Berlin/Brandenburg DAB+ 7B network makes Panjab the first Asian radio station to broadcast in Germany. The new service will cater for the needs of the 70,000+ Asians living in Berlin.

Surjit Ghuman MBE, Managing Director says: “ Panjab Radio team felt that this is the ideal time for Panjab Radio to be broadcasting into Berlin on DAB+ as previously Panjab Radio was only available via satellite only and we’re delighted to partner with Berlin DAB+ to make this happen.”

Panjab Radio is based in Hayes, and originally started broadcasting on 1st September 2000 and is on a number of DAB multiplexes around the UK.
