G Media has come up with a new App feature which mirrors on-air content inside a smartphone app.
Dubbed ‘RadioFeed’, the feature on the main page changes content depending on what is on-air, and covers songs, news, weather, travel and even ads.
Luke James Taylor, Creative Director from G Media told RadioToday: “This is the biggest day for apps in our history. We’ve worked so hard to create an experience that isn’t just an ‘in-pocket’ listen. This is just the beginning of what’s to come for our apps. We’ll be bringing car integration, logged-in listening, push notifications and loads more in future updates.”
The feature is now live on Juice FM Liverpool and will be updated on stations owned by Celador and UTV Radio later, plus JACK fm Oxford.
