Jack Hertfordshire hires Graham Mack as PC

Graham Mack has joined Hertfordshire’s JACK fm as the new Breakfast Presenter and Programme Controller.

It follows the departure of Steve Folland, who has been on-air at the station (previously Hertbeat FM) for 12 years. Steve is leaving radio to spend more time with his family and pursue his career in video production.

Brett Harley, Managing Director of JACK fm Hertfordshire told RadioToday: “Steve has big shoes to fill – and with 12 years on-air he’s gained a huge following locally. There’ll always be a part of Steve here! But Graham’s also a real talent – and we’re so pleased he’s joined us. His ideas and enthusiasm are already becoming infectious within the office – and I, for one, can’t wait to hear that played out on-air!”

Steve Folland said: “The creative freedom Brett has given me has been amazing, there can’t be many jobs like it. In a world full of people who moan about their jobs, I have always loved mine – and I wish the station nothing but the very best for the future”.

Graham Mack said: “I can’t wait to get started – especially as the week I moved to Hertfordshire, Posh and Becks announced they’re selling their house here and moving, that can’t be a coincidence!”

Previously at 2CR, Century, TFM, BRMB, and others – Graham scooped Bronze as the “Best Radio Personality (Local Market)” at the New York Radio Awards this year – and won the “Breakfast Show of the Year” (under 10 million) at the Sony Radio Academy Awards in 2011.

Graham joins Jules Mayne and Chris Hubbard on JACK’s Breakfast from Monday 2nd December.
